Four Paws Animal Shelter is the incredibly fortunate recipient of a very generous donation of cat food from Mars Africa. Our shelter cats are particularly vulnerable during the cold winter months, and high-quality cat nutrition is very important to their well-being. A huge thank you to Mars Africa from all of us at Four Paws!
Dogs were lovingly photographed by Tarryn with a LOT of help from Tammy and her team at 4Paws Animal Shelter.
Christmas in July 2020
This year we are having to do things differently for the miracle of Christmas giving to still happen twice a year in South Africa. Christmas in July enables the miracle of Christmas giving to happen twice a year in Johannesburg, South Africa. We need your help to support our charities especially in 2020. We assist people and causes who need a helping hand to make our country a better place. This will be our 20th annual miracle celebration. Hear our story in less than 3 minutes as we move online.
We need casual and weekend-warrior volunteers to help with the many tasks at our Shelter. We need warriors who are brave, fit/working on being fit, and not afraid of hard work. Sometimes dirty but always rewarding. All ages welcome. Commit to 2 hours a week, 1 morning a week, commit your husband for a few hours, bring all your staff etc. Let’s have some fun by making the most precious donation of all – our valuable time – to such a worth cause.

Please make a donation to the Shelter or directly to our Vet using 4Paws Animal Shelter and your name as your reference. Click onto the link at the top right of this page to make a donation or donate directly to our vet using the information below.

Please Note : When making payments directly to our Vet, please use the reference 4Paws_(your name) so we can correctly allocate the payment to our Shelter.
Please note : If no actual picture of the pet is shown, this means the pet has probably sustained injuries or is in rehabilitation. They are such brave pets and they don’t mind showing you their injuries as long as you understand they might not be looking their best! With our love and care and your help we hope to get them on the road to recovery quickly.

“We have improved the lives of many animals since we started in July 2006 but there are so many more animals in need. We are only able to do what our finances allow us to do.” ~Merinda Brits
