Cosmo’s New Chance

Cosmo and Jazzie

Hi I’m Cosmo.  That’s me on the right with my good friend Jazzie.  I was hit by a car and had to have a leg amputated and my owner’s didn’t want me back without my leg.  I don’t miss my old leg and can run around just as fast on three as I could on four!

Hey good news!  I’ve been adopted by a wonderful family and although I’m going to miss my dear friend Jazzie, I now have 2 new friends.  Here’s me taking a stroll around my new garden with my new chums.  I’m so happy and so grateful to my new family.  The 4Paws Shelter taught me to be a good boy and socialize well so I know we’re going to make a great team.

Taking a stroll with my new family

 Post from 4Paws

Although we love all our Shelter residents, it is usually quite difficult to rehome a dog with an amputation due to either an injury or an accident.  It takes very special people to look beyond this and see the happy, eager dog beneath.  We are immensely grateful to this wonderful family who adopted our special boy.  He will now enjoy the cherished, privileged life he deserves.  Thanks to everyone who donates to and supports our Shelter.  We cannot hope to have success stories like this without your amazing support.

Just look at me scooting around my new garden on my three legs.  Told you I was as good on three as I was on four!  I love my new Mom and I couldn’t be happier.  AND, I didn’t forget how to chase a ball.  Thanks to all at 4Paws for taking such care of me!
